Goodwood Kartways is situated in the northern suburb of Toronto. Built on over 20 acres of rolling hills, the facility features one of the most prestigious track layouts in Ontario. With multiple configurations, and over one kilometre of paved racing surface, the ten turn course is Ontario’s premiere one-stop karting center.
With many years of tradition, Goodwood Kartways represents the past, present and future of Karting in Ontario. Whether you're seeking the thrill of public karting, looking to join one of many organized racing leagues’, searching for the ultimate in corporate entertainment, or simply looking to learn more about one of Canada’s fastest growing sports, the power is at your command.
Goodwood Kartways in its 40 plus years is a race track that has groomed Canadian heroes such as Ron Fellows, Paul Tracy and Scott Goodyear. Racers from all over Ontario, Canada and the USA have visited the historic facility to participate in a wide variety of karting events. It is often said to be a “must have” on driver resumes.
As the sport of karting continues to mature as a primary recreational activity for thousands of people annually in Ontario, Goodwood Kartways is dedicated to offering you a real life racing experience through a number of unique programs. Open to the general public, everything is provided for you to go racing.
Owned and operated by two of Canada’s top racing professionals, a major emphasis is put on creating “grass root” karting programs designed to discover and train Canada’s next motorsports stars!
Through a unique “Arrive and Drive” program (Canadian Rookie Karting Championship) open to the public for drivers between the ages of 8-70 where everything is provided from the karts, to the safety equipment, rookies and/or
beginners are encouraged to join over 800 members who are currently participating in the house league type format. These new racers race on a bi-weekly schedule and outstanding achievers are offered the opportunity to climb the karting ranks through a Scholarship Program initiated by Goodwood Kartways.
These chosen karters, along with racing enthusiasts from all over Ontario, own and operate their own racing machines. Competitions are scheduled from April to October, and the Toronto Racing Association of Karters (TRAK) which is a not-for-profit organization and a kart club that shares many of the same promotional goals as Goodwood Kartways offer karters the opportunity to show their stuff against Ontario’s best. Racing takes place regularly at the Goodwood facility and a long list of established motorsports stars have come through this type of program.
The facility hosts a full service kart shop with a complete inventory of karts and parts which are always readily available. New and used racing karts are in stock and will be custom fit to suit drivers of all shapes and sizes.
